Accessibility Statement

Mendis is committed to making our programs, website, and services accessible and inclusive for all people, including those with disability. We aim to ensure that everyone can participate fully, both online and in person.

Our Commitment

  • Design our website and digital content with accessibility in mind, following WCAG 2.1 AA guidelines where possible.
  • Provide peer-led sessions in both Zoom and in-person formats, so members can choose what works best for them.
  • Offer alternative formats for key documents (PDF, large print, plain text) when requested.
  • Ensure venues for in-person events are physically accessible wherever possible.
  • Encourage respectful communication and inclusive practices in all sessions.

Ongoing Effort

Accessibility is not a one-time fix but an ongoing process. We regularly review our website, forms, and programs to identify and address barriers to participation.

Known Limitations

While we strive for full accessibility, some areas may not yet meet all standards due to technical or resource constraints. For example:

  • Some third-party integrations (e.g., Zoom, PayPal) are outside our direct control.
  • Occasional formatting issues may occur with automated documents or forms.

We welcome feedback to improve these areas.
